Beau Bernier Frank
Artist
Beau Bernier Frank is a French-American, self-taught surrealist painter.
Born in Southern California in 1993
Wide-ranging oeuvre of landscapes and seascapes is marked by both loneliness and awe showing the majesty of the American landscape. Frank’s objectives is inline with historical groups like the Hudson River School painters. Frank’s contemplative, melancholic landscapes incorporate American imagery as well: the coastal arbor gates, ocean expanses, and Californian Cliffs follow the Romantic tradition. Frank also seeks to show the power of nature and the feelings of the sublime it evokes in the viewer.
