Biography

Bane explores the relationship of people with objects in his figurative style. Creating different tableau’s depending on his mood or desire for the audience.

Charles Bane III  was born in West Palm Beach, FL.  At an early age he was introduced to Van Gogh, Vasquez, and the different genre’s of still life and portraits which still inspire him today. He from age 12 to today has always kept a sketchbook with him at all times.  Bane’s studio is based out of West Palm Beach, FL, 1 block from the Norton Museum of Art.

He’s an accomplished teacher in graffiti, figure drawing, and has helped 57 students get  into art schools such as Cooper Union, Harvard, UCLA, and Chelsea College of Arts.

Bane is very active with Dreyfoos School of the Arts, on the Acquisition Council for Norton Museum of Art and on the board of Ballet Florida.
